CMP
This test is used to check your Kidney and Liver Function, Electrolytes, blood sugar, and many more. In this comprehensive test you get 15 total test. **Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, Carbon Dioxide, Calcium, Blood Urea Nitrogen, Creatinine, Glomerular Filtration Rate, Alkaline Phosphates, Bilirubin Total, Aspartate Transaminase, Alanine Transaminase, Albumin, Total Protein, and Glucose levels** You will need to fast for this lab work to be done.
CBC
This comprehensive test screens for a range of diseases including anemia, leukemia, and inflammatory processes. It covers white blood count, red blood count, hemoglobin, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW, platelet count, MPV, and differential, as well as absolute and percentage of neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, and basophils.
Tetosterone
This test is helpful in assisting testicular function in male and managing hirsutism, virilization in females. Included in this panel is your Sex Hormone Binding Globulin and Albumin. Early morning fasting is preferred.
TSH
​Thyroid stimulating hormone is used for differential diagnosis of primary, secondary, or tertiary hypothyroidism. This test can also be useful for screening hyperthyroidism. This test will help your doctor determine dosage in hypothyroid patients that are on suppressive thyroxine therapy for thyroid neoplasia. You do not have to be fasting for the test
Lipid Panel
A lipid panel test measures your cholesterol levels, including good cholesterol (HDL), bad cholesterol (LDL), and triglycerides, which store excess energy from your diet. Elevated triglyceride levels and high LDL or low HDL can increase the risk of heart attack or stroke.
A1C
This test is essential for determining if you are pre-diabetic or diabetic and for monitoring the control of the disease. It provides a value indicating your average blood sugar levels over the preceding 2-3 months.
PSA
Elevated concentrations of serum PSA have been observed in men diagnosed with prostate cancer, benign prostatic hypertrophy, and inflammatory prostate conditions.
DHEA-S
This is the major androgen produced by the adrenal glands. With this test it can diagnose or detect disorders in the testicles or ovaries. It can also be used to detect puberty in males. Some physicians use this to test for tumors on the adrenal glands. Low levels of DHEA-S can diagnose Addison’s Disease or Hypoputuitarism. Elevated levels can be a sign of PCOS. Biotin supplements should not be taken for 72 hours prior to testing.
